The Story of a Photographer

Hello, I am Carrie Smedley. I am so glad you found me and are considering me to be your photographer. I serve growing families in and around Southern California.

I'm an animal, nature and love the beach. I enjoy music that feeds my soul and pretend I know how to dance. My first love of photography was in high school, developing film in the darkroom (yes, it was awhile ago) and watching the images appear was just so exciting for me. Although, I did not pursue this as a career in the beginning, I chose to pick up photography again after having raised children of my own and now experiencing the many blessings of having grandchildren, has allowed my to see how incredibly fast time goes. My goal as your photographer is to first off, have fun, but to also capture your special moments in a joyous and timeless way.
